I LOVE YOU MAN

I am super stoked for the new movie “I love you man” Reading an interview with the writer John Hamburg (writer of meet the parents, meet the fockers, and co-writer for Zoolander) makes me want to see the movie even more.

I am mostly excited because it has a good comedy cast, and its not done by Jude Aptow. His movies tend to be to much for me. To much raunchy stuff, and to much F bombs. In the interview Hmaburg says there are only two F words in the whole movie, and there is no nudity or raunchy scenes.

The movie was originally going to be PG-13, but when he got an R rating he said “well I guess we live in a R-rated world” Which I think is very true. The fact there is no nudity in the movie, there is talk of sex and things of that nature. But when Writing the script Hamburg said
“I was never conscious of, "Let's be really raunchy, let's not." It was just like, "Who are these characters?" Well, a guy in his late twenties who lives in Venice who picks up divorcées is probably gonna talk about sex and curse, not in a gratuitous way, but in a realistic way. I don't think Paul Rudd's character, he only says the F-word once in the entire movie. He says "f*ck" at the end when he finally mans up and slaps Tevin, he says, "Stay the f*ck away from my listing." That's the only time I think he curses in the movie.”

He just wanted to write about these characters, and show what they really would be like. I guess who they really are. I am super stoked to see this movie. The writer is good, the cast is good, and even some of “Stella” is in the movie, which you cant go wrong with.

  1. Very good comedy plus romantic movie. Man, I love Paul Rudd. And I'm almost positive that right after you watch his latest feature, you will too.
