My hopes and Predictions for the 81st Academy Awards

Best Actor
In reality, Sean Penn will probably win for milk. Personally i didn't like milk that much, it just wasn't that good to me. I really want Richard Jenkins in “The Visitor” to win. I thought he did a very good job. he showed very good and strong character development, and he made you just love him. I thought it was awesome, and he made the movie so good. He was a lonely guy, and then all of sudden he is a drummer loving life and accepting the unexpected.

Best Supporting Actor
Heath Ledger should win, and will win. There shouldn't be any if ands or buts. He was so good, and yet so creepy, and now a legend. He deserves it, no matter what.

Best Actress.
I really want Angelina Jolie in “Changeling” to win. I thought she did an awesome job in it. Honestly, i thought it should have been nominated for best picture too. It was such a good movie that really touched me, and Angelina played an amazing loving mother in that role.

Best Supporting Actress
I am in a toss up between Penélope Cruz in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” and Marisa Tomei in “The Wrestler”. The only reason why i wouldn't want Marisa Tomei to win is because you have to see her boobs in that movie, and she is just to old to be a stripper. Both women did an amazing job, and i cant decide between the two. They were both believable in both parts of their roles. My guess is that Cruz will win only because she is the bigger name, and the older guys who vote for these awards like her hotness.

Best Animated Film of the Year
Honestly all the nomamtions suck for best picture. Wall-e by far the most boring. But i think Kung Fu panada was the most enjoyable. I liked it, it was funny. But Wall-e will probably win due to all the hype of it.

Best Director
Danny Boyle will and should win for Slummdog Millionaire. It was a good movie, and Danny Boyle seems to never disappoint. It was able to reach and touch many people around the world, and it was very beautifully done.

Best Documentary
Man on the wire. No questions or comments needed on that one.

Best Foreign Film
It hard to say between“Waltz with Bashir” and "the Class". The waltz was very original, and very creative and moving. The class was a very touching, and family feel good film. I think waltz should win, but if my vote mattered, i would pick the class.

Best Picture
MIlk or Benjamin Button Will win. I don't want them to win. I want slumdog to win. It was so much better and moving than those movies. Button was a cool story and had cool effects. Milk, honestly i didn't like it, but the hype has convinced many others that it was amazing. I hope slumdog will win.

Best Original Screenplay
In “In Bruges” (Focus Features), Written by Martin McDonagh for sure. It was so amazing. I have never laughed so hard in a movie, and seen something so great in a while.
