The Mighty Boosh

Recently I have been turned onto the show “The Mighty Boosh” by my good friend Francesco from Brooklyn. It is a very funny British show. But i need to remind you, it is a British show, and some Americans just don't get British humor. I don’t know if I should even blog about it, because it's fun having this little secret of mine, but I feel that it is funny enough that people should watch it. It is a lot like the show Flight of The Conchords, but it is the BBC take on it. I like FOTC better, probably because I saw it first, and it caters more towards Americans. The mighty boosh is original, for it started in 2004, before FOTC itself. So far, 2 complete seasons are finished, and you can watch most of it on Hulu, or download it off of a torrent website.

 

Developed from three stage shows and a six episode radio series, it has since spawned a total of twenty television episodes for BBC Three and a live tour of the UK. A recent festival has been held and forthcoming album of their music and another live tour are also planned. (More on them, click here)

 

It mostly takes place in a flat (apartment) of two friends who work at a zoo. Watching their adventures, funny random songs, and amazingly funny outfits and mustaches, this show will have you laughing hard.
